Hidden Figures Math Workshops Overview

The mission of the 'Hidden Figures Revealed' Project is to highlight the nearly 200 alumni who have earned degrees in mathematics from The Ohio State University that identify as Black. 

Each workshop in this series will focus on math activities inspired by Hidden Figures from Ohio State!  They will begin with a discussion about the Hidden Figure of the Day followed by unique hands on math activities. 

We encourage you to spread the word about these workshops to any guardians, teachers, and students you know in grades 6-8 in Central Ohio! We look forward to seeing you in April!

The workshops will be held at the Community Extension Center (CEC) for the Department of African and African American Studies at The Ohio State University, located at 905 Mount Vernon Ave, Columbus, OH 43203. Learn about CEC here.
