Research
I have research interests in both Pure Mathematics and Math Education. If you think about pure mathematics as a tree, there is a very large branch dedicated to an area called Abstract Algebra. Within this larger branch, I study a sub-branch of commutative algebra called commutative ring theory. I am also very interested in math education, particularly online learning and the incorporation of technology into the classroom.
